Position: AmeriCorps Leadership and Conservation Program

Who: 19-24 years olds looking to be leaders in their community. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic, a commitment to service, diversity, self-development, and team work.

What: A ten-month term. Fall and spring are spent working in the Home Energy and Water Conservation Projects installing energy and water saving measures in low-income homes while educating clients about the benefits of conservation. Summer is spent outdoors assuming advanced leadership roles for seasonal crews completing land conservation projects including fire mitigation, trail building, noxious weed removal and community gardening.
